Warm Up at Christmas with Vanilla
With less than a month to go until Christmas, it’s time to start thinking about what to do and where to eat on that special day. In Turkish culture, Christmas is almost always combined with New Year and observed on the 31st, so if you want to celebrate on the 24th and 25th, often your best (or even only) bet is to plan a meal at home and invite everyone over. If, like me, you’re not the cooking type, then a meal out at your favourite restaurant can suffice, but given that it won’t be an actual Christmas dinner, it doesn’t really feel the same.
Luckily, this year you have another option. A proper option, and by that I mean a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, served in the cosy atmosphere of Vanilla in Kaleiçi. Wayne has prepared a special menu for the occasion, and it’s really something to get excited about.

This is the first time since 2008 that Vanilla have offered Christmas dinner, so it’s a very special occasion indeed. Wayne’s menus are consistently mindblowing in both concept and implementation, and the atmosphere in the newly-redesigned dining room speaks for itself.
Christmas dinner will be served on 25 December from noon onward by reservation only. You can book by ringing Vanilla on (242) 247 60 13 or request a table online.
