Diana Suen Discovers Antalya
Earlier this month, serial traveller Diana Suen visited Turkey for the first time, spending a few days in Antalya before moving on to Istanbul. She wrote a fantastic post about her experiences in both cities, and it was nice to read about Antalya from her perspective, especially since she enjoys discovering new food.
Diana’s description of trying an Adana kebab for the first time brought back a lot of memories of my own early experiences with Turkish cuisine, and although I’ve never tried Sultanyar specifically, her description of their food as ‘mind-blowing’ echoes what I’ve heard countless visitors say upon trying authentic Turkish food for the first time (as opposed to what is often mislabelled ‘authentic Turkish’ in other countries). There’s no shortage of great kebabs in Antalya; any visitor to the city would be lucky to try their first real kebab here.
