This Friday, 16 January, photographer Melih İnanlı will be presenting a collection of 106 images of butterflies he has photographed around Turkey. Entitled Doğanın Sessiz Melekleri (Nature’s Silent Angels), the exhibition is coming to Antalya as part of a national tour.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of additional information about this event, but here’s the official poster:

If you’ve ever tried to photograph butterflies, you know how tricky it can be. From what I’ve seen of İnanlı’s work online, he does this delicate work quite skilfully, so these should be really interesting images to see up close.

The Antalya Fine Art Gallery (Antalya Güzel Sanatlar Galerisi) is located in the city centre, just between Republic Square and the clock tower. The event begins at 5.30 p.m., so it could be a great starting point for a Friday evening out in Kaleiçi.
